When speaking from a grounded, neutral and loving centre, the power of a woman’s voice creates profound shifts within herself and beyond.
The sacral chakra (womb space) and throat mirror one another- both relating to creation and expression.
Sacral births life and creative energy, and the throat expresses it into the world.
When breath/energy rises freely from the sacral to the throat, one can speak, sing and create from their deepest truth. If blocked or suppressed, it can be difficult to express emotions and needs.
Historically, women’s voices and sexuality has been suppressed. Walking around numb and quiet. This has caused women to experience shame and unworthiness. Making themselves small, holding back needs and desires which then creates dis-ease in the body, mind and soul.
